Loominaire is founded by Rug and Home Furnishing professionals with close to 50 years of combined experience in the American Home Décor industry in Overseas Manufacturing, Design & Development, Stringent Quality Controls, Shipping & Logistics and Sales.

While in recent years the market has moved en-masse to synthetic machine made rugs (sadly), we want to bring back the Romance of handwoven rugs in natural yarns to True Carpet & Rug Lovers with a taste for the traditional techniques, but in edgy contemporary styles. Our Rugs and Home décor products are made using the Best Wool Blends and Fine Cottons, creating Unique Limited Edition Rugs at Value Prices.

Our Rugs are woven without absolutely any Child Labor in “SA8000” compliant facilities that routinely audited, certified and validated by world renowned multinational Audit Firms. Each one of our rugs bears a “Good Weave” label that means no humans below 18 years of age are allowed anywhere near our weaving facilities. Further we are an ISO certified firm that means we follow and practice the best Quality Standards at all time and for each rug. And we don’t do this just for the certificates. We do this because we consider our weavers our family, and you ensure your family has nothing but the best working environment and quality of life.

Because we can. Owing to the fact that we weave our rugs on our own looms that operate in traditional community style weaving centers but still adhere to all the social norms and required compliances. Further we are able to cut costs by negotiating bulk rates with Shipping Companies for Sea Freight and Courier Companies for domestic deliveries from our warehouse by boxing our rugs, instead of the expensive and cumbersome rolls/bales that are clumsy and costly to ship.

Well, why not!!! Being that humans for centuries have learned to delicately spin and weave yarn made from naturally occurring materials like Flax, Cotton and Animal Hair and Skins, through Warps and Wefts to create the first basic fabrics to protect themselves against the vagaries of weather, and once they started to settle, soft comfy rugs to sleep in and then decorate. House proud much, humans? At least until Machine Made synthetic rugs started to kill the handwoven beauties with their cheap shiny Manmade Yarns to meet cheaper retail price points.
